Emirates National Schools celebrates the 39th National Day
November 29,30th and December 1st 2010 marked a special occasion as Emirates National Schools celebrated the 39th National Day across its 3 campuses located in Mohamed Bin Zayed city, Abu Dhabi city and Al Ain city.
The celebrations consisted of a sequence of students’ activities reflecting the authentic Emirati traditions and values.
The program featured the creation of a typical Heritage village together with animals to entertain the students throughout this special date.
The day long festivities began with the National Anthem followed by a Military band play.
The program presented Musical Pieces, theater performances and plays, students Art Exhibitions, Traditional Costumes Fashion Shows, Poems, Bazaars, Students speeches, Traditional dance performances, Falcons, Students group songs, Arabic tents in addition to traditional food display, all as attractive themes taking part of this exceptional occasion..
On this topic Dr. Kenneth Vedra, Director General of Emirates National Schools commented: “celebrating the United Arab Emirates 39th National Day is important for the continued development of Leadership and preservation of Heritage and Culture.
