Due to enormous expansion, we seek fully qualified and experienced teachers of Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary age-range subjects. Applicants must speak English as a 1st language, hold a degree, a teaching qualification, and have a minimum of two years experience post-qualification in the subject/field for which they are applying.

Successful candidates will have an enjoyable lifestyle in a sunny, warm and often hot climate, in a safe environment with little crime and a large expatriate population (80% of the population). The package includes accommodation with utilities, transport to and from school daily, annual flight to the home country, a good tax-free salary and an end of service bonus equivalent to one month per year completed. Contracts are for two years.

Emirates National Schools are independent schools with a mainly Emirati population. We expect a student population of over 4000 in the academic year 2009/10, over three campuses: two in or near Abu Dhabi City and another in ‘the garden city’, Al Ain, about 90 miles away. We have almost four hundred international teachers, 80% of whom are English-speaking Western teachers and 20% Arabic teachers.

We have adopted the best examples of British International (IGCSE) and American (High School Diploma) curricula, and aim to implement the PYP/MYP/DP of the IBO as soon as possible. Experience in these curricula would therefore be an advantage.
