Recruited Staff
- Air conditioned accommodation of a good standard:
2 bedrooms for teaching couples, and single bedroom
for others.
- Basic furnishings and major appliances provided.
- Payment of reasonable electricity and water bills.
- An annual round trip air ticket, as arranged by
the school, from and to the home of record, or its
cash equivalent as determined by the school.
- Payment for up to $500 (based upon actual receipts
for actual expenses) for excess baggage and/or shipping
at the beginning of the period of employment. All
cost of insurance connected with this will be the
liability of the teacher.
- Transport from the designated residence to the
school at the beginning and end of the school day,
and for staff meetings etc.
- Coverage for a medical examination (including tests
for HIV, Aids, Hepatitis C, and TB) in the UAE, as
required by the school. Upon arrival, Employee must
ensure medical and physical fitness prior to entering
the UAE.
- Internationally valid Medical Insurance (including
emergency treatment in the USA & Canada for up
to 75 days per year) will be provided. This includes
also a UAE Health Card, for treatment at
clinics and Hospitals in the UAE.
- Assistance and payment for related costs in the
UAE, in connection with the obtaining of an Employment
visa. Degree authentication may be required but the
cost of obtaining authenticated degrees and certificates
will be paid by the teacher.
- Sick leave as indicated in the contract and a compassionate bereavement leave for the death of a first degree relative.
