Admission to the Emirates National School will be based on an assessment of the suitability of the school’s world-class program for individual student applicants. The assessment may include interviews with the student and the parents conducted by the School Director or delegate. In addition to this oral assessment, there will be formal written assessments, which assess ability in Arabic, English and Mathematics. These tests will be related to the academic background and age of the student and do not require any prior preparation.
Before an appointment for such assessments can be arranged, the parents of a prospective student will need to complete and personally submit the following documents at the Office of Admissions:
- Assessment fee receipt (250 ADH).
- The Student birth certificate.
- The Student Passport.
- One personal picture of the student.
- ENS Application for Admission form.
- Copy of original report card from previous school for previous school year and for first term/semester of current school year (where applicable).
- Copy of passport of sponsoring parent/guardian and Residence Visa (where applicable).
Offers of a place will be made on the basis of admission assessments and a thorough review of previous records. Parents will be notified of acceptance and placement following an evaluation by the school’s administration. Upon receiving an offer of a place for their child, parents should pay within 15 days the non-refundable Enrollment Fee as stated in the fee structure and submit the following documents in order to secure that place for the 2008-2009 academic years.

- The original report card from previous school for previous school year and for first term/semester of current school year (where applicable In the case of student applicants from outside UAE)
- Attested by the appropriate authorities in the county of origin which must include the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in that county. (Except students coming from USA, Canada, Europe and Scandinavian countries).
- A Letter of Transfer attested by the appropriate authorities in the county of origin which must include the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the UAE Embassy in that county.
